The Glamis Residents' Association is focused on supporting residents today while also planning for the long-term future of the Glamis Estate.
This page sets out the Association's priorities, current projects, funding aims and future ambitions. It will be updated as plans develop and as new information becomes available.
Our Approach
Our role is to bring residents together, encourage participation and work constructively with East End Homes, Tower Hamlets Council, local organisations, funders and community partners.
The Association is not responsible for housing management, repairs or statutory services. However, we can help identify wider estate concerns, support community-led projects and promote improvements that benefit residents across the estate.
12-Month Priorities
Over the next year, the Association aims to focus on practical improvements and stronger communication with residents.
- Improve resident engagement and encourage more people to attend meetings.
- Share clearer information about meetings, minutes, projects and estate updates.
- Develop Glamis Residents' Hall as a more active and accessible community space.
- Promote appropriate reporting routes for repairs, complaints and estate issues.
- Identify short-term community projects that can improve life across the estate.
- Build stronger working relationships with East End Homes, Tower Hamlets Council and local partners.
5-Year Vision
Looking further ahead, the Association wants to help create a stronger, better connected and more resilient community.
- A more active and representative Residents' Association.

- A well-used Glamis Residents' Hall supporting activities, events and community services.
- More opportunities for residents of all ages to get involved.
- Community projects that support wellbeing, inclusion, safety and pride in the estate.
- Access to funding and grants that help deliver long-term improvements.

Projects may include community events, hall improvements, resident engagement activities, environmental improvements, local partnerships, funding applications and estate-wide initiatives.

Funding & Grants
As a registered charity, the Glamis Residents' Association may seek funding and grant support for projects that benefit residents and support the Association's charitable objectives.
Funding may be used to support community activities, educational programmes, recreational opportunities, hall improvements, wellbeing initiatives and other charitable projects within the area of benefit.
Where funding is received, the Association will aim to share appropriate updates with residents through this website, meeting minutes and community news.
Projects Needing Support
The Association welcomes ideas, support and involvement from residents, local organisations and community partners.
